Poem written March 2010
Learning
Sometimes it is so hard to not learn
It comes at me soo
fast, so quick, I have to soak it in
Like a sponge, osmosis, a way of life.
Other times: I seem to know nothing,
Learn
nothing, spend the day re-learning things I have known for years,
forgetting, losing, feeling like a failure.
Then I think of Him,
who learned
Grace from Grace,
Line upon Line
precept upon precept
through the Father, with his
pure love,
and I
wish to be the smallest bit like him
so I try something
new.
