Time

The older I get, the faster time goes. I remember when I was little days seemed to go on forever and weeks were like years. Now days seem like minutes and weeks are hours and months are days. Every year it gets faster. There never seems to be enough time to do what needs to be done or even what I want to do. It seems that time is the only thing that we really do have and it feels like it is slipping through my fingers. I often wished for the time perception of child and the privileges of an adult. I know that I am not alone in this. This is the biggest reason to hope for an eternity as an afterlife, is to have forever to do everything I missed in this life. I will continue to hope, and try to take each moment in this life, just a little slower.
